I'm a USA Today Bestselling Author!

Yesterday, I cried real tears of joy. If you know me, I don't cry easily. But, yesterday was an exception. I've been at this writing gig for nine years! In that time, I've written over 30 novels and short stories. I've contracted books with publishers but now I'm mostly a self-published author. I've spent years watching the landscape of my industry change, sometimes for good and sometimes not so good. I kept plugging away, learning new tricks, taking courses, and focusing on my craft. The books I wrote nine years ago are not necessarily the books I would write today, but they are part of who I am as an author. Why am I telling you all of this?

Because after years of pouring everything I have into my books, dealing with rejection, building a readership, making some amazing friends, and having days where I wanted to throw in the towel this happened...

I became a USA Today Bestselling author, joining the ranks of so many authors I admire. I've wanted to write for as long as I can remember. This title doesn't define me as an author but it gives me a sense of accomplishment that I've earned.

Thanks to all of you who have supported me with not only this release  but for all of my books throughout the years. If we've just met, I look forward to connecting with you. Today, I have a renewed sense of purpose and I truly feel like I'm just getting started!

Find Me... featured on USA Today's Happily Ever After Blog

Thanks to everyone who has added Find Me to your TBR list, purchased it, reviewed it, shared and/or messaged me about the  book.

I couldn't be happier with the buzz starting to surround my little paranormal romance Find Me. As I mentioned in earlier posts this story has been in my head for years. I've always been intrigued with time travel but I never considered myself a paranormal romance author. This is a whole new ballgame for me. I'm normally an erotic, contemporary romance writer so when Find Me debuted I started to wonder where my readers would come from. I'm thrilled that so many of my existing readers are giving it a shot. I've gotten some wonderful messages from people who said they never read time travel or paranormal but because I wrote it they read it. Talk about pressure! I'm thrilled to be finding some new readers in the process. It's been great hearing from all of you!

Find Me was a story that wouldn't leave me alone and I'm glad I took the chance and wrote it. This is the very first scene that popped into my head and ended up being the opening of the book...

The mystery man moved his hand to Riley’s cheek, gently stroking her face before leaning closer to her. The warmth of his breath caressed her lips. Moving his other hand to her hair, he slipped off the band that secured her ponytail and set her long locks free. Tangling his fingers in her tresses, he guided her to his lips. The prickle from the stubble on his jaw brushed her cheek as he placed a soft kiss at the corner of her mouth just below her bottom lip. His signature...

Her stomach fluttered from the contact. When he drew away from her, she craved more. Staring into his green depths, she tried to memorize every feature of his face right down to the tiny mole just below his left earlobe. There was something familiar about the stranger who began visiting her a few nights ago.

“Find me,” he whispered just before fading away.

I had no idea where I was going to take it from there but I knew I had to write it. It turned into a paranormal fantasy featuring a sassy contemporary witch, a sexy persistent warlock and a span of 50 years.
