Hesitant Heart... Morticia Knight

SALE $2.50 from now until November 14, 2014

Hesitant Heart (The Hampton Road Club 1)

M/M BDSM Historical (1920’s)
Sam is a naïve young man who arrives in Hollywood to escape his brutal father. When the older, sophisticated Aaron rescues him, Sam discovers what it means to fully surrender himself to another.
Eighteen year-old Sam Cunningham is used to living with lots of secrets. He’s had to hide his true nature his entire life or else incur the wrath of his strict and abusive father. When he’s faced with a horrible ultimatum, he flees to Hollywood where he hopes he can escape the fate his father has planned for him.
Aaron Rubenstein is a wealthy and sophisticated man who loses himself in painting portraits of bound men to help stave off his loneliness and despair. Unable to find a lasting connection with anyone, he’s had to resort to paying lovers not only for their affections, but to be allowed to indulge in his darker passions. Aaron’s only respite is his nights at the Hampton Road sadomasochism club where he’s a respected Dominant.
Naïve and inexperienced in the ways men can please one another, Sam takes a job at a bathhouse where he first glimpses a beautiful older man. Aaron notices the sweet towel boy watching him with interest every time he patronizes the Temple of Eros bathhouse. A traumatic incident for the innocent towel boy triggers Aaron’s protective tendencies and he’s compelled to rescue the gentle Sam from the clutches of the Temple’s manager.
They embark on a journey together that teaches them both things about themselves that they never knew. As their bond deepens and Sam is trained for his first night at the Hampton Road Club, an unknown danger lurks. Will Sam’s father find him and destroy both men’s chance for true happiness together? Or will Aaron protect his boy and keep him for always?

EXCERPT

Gathering his street clothes then placing them in his locker, Sam was startled when David shoved him against the wooden doors of the compartments. David was a little taller than Sam’s five-and-a-half feet and built huskier. He glowered, standing within inches of Sam in a threatening stance, feet apart, hands braced against the lockers on either side of Sam’s head.
“You sure like to act all high and mighty, Smith. What are you hiding? Huh?”
Sam narrowed his eyes, pressing his lips together, refusing to let David know he was afraid. He hated bullies. His father was a first class bully and David had no right to treat him like that. Sam had never even been a little bit mean to him.
“Hey, you lazy, useless boys! What’s going on in here?”
Bob Larsen, the manager, stormed into the room and grabbed David by the collar of his shirt, yanking him back as he did. David howled in protest.
“Well? I asked you both a question.”
His boss had barked out the words, his face reddening, his lips twisted in a menacing snarl.
“Sorry, sir.” David’s tone had miraculously changed into one of sweetness and compliance. “I should have come to you first, but Smith had me so upset by what he said, I couldn’t help myself.”
“What? I never—”
“Quiet!” Bob loosened his hold on David. “What’d he say?”
David glanced at him sideways and Sam didn’t miss the gleam of satisfaction in his eyes.
“Sam was telling me how he was too good to go with the men to the private rooms and that if he ever did, he would keep all the money anyway.”
“He’s lying, Mr Larsen. I never said—”
A stinging slap across his face knocked his head to the side. He covered his injured cheek with one hand, refusing to give in to the urge to cry. It had been a while since he’d been hit in the face and after leaving home, he’d hoped it would never happen again. He chanced a peek at Mr Larsen.
“Don’t you sass me, you little street urchin.” Mr Larsen growled. “Now listen, Smith, that fella who’s been eyeing you is in the main steam room with Saul Liebowitz, the regular. If you don’t get him to take you to one of the private rooms today, I don’t ever want to see you in here again. And since you don’t want your pride hurt by taking money to let him fuck you, for your first time you can give the whole ten bucks to me. Got it?”
Sam’s eyes went wide. He was terrified. Confused. How could the beautiful man fuck him? It reminded him of some of the things Louis had told him on the ride down the coast that had also been confusing. He knew what that word meant. It was how his cousin Andrew had gotten the neighbor girl Molly pregnant when they were both only sixteen. They’d had what his father had said was a ‘shotgun wedding’. Sam didn’t remember seeing any shotguns when they got married, so he figured his father must have been mistaken. The memory was upsetting to him for another reason, but he didn’t have time to worry about it right then. He had other more immediate problems.
Mr Larsen grabbed him roughly by his upper arm and dragged him toward the exit of the changing area.
“Here’s some fresh towels. Now get in there and do your goddamned job.”
His legs shook so much, he wasn’t sure he could walk on them. He gulped in air, his breath coming in short pants as he carried the neatly folded towels in front of him as if they were a sacrificial offering. He’d thought he’d loved his job, but not anymore. The terror in him was so sharp that any of the good parts of it had been wiped away.
As he approached the closed door of the room that contained the man he’d fantasized would want him for more than sex, he caught a sob in his throat. He would take whatever wages he still had and leave town first thing. Louis had been right. Hollywood was a very bad place. Men didn’t love one another because they wanted to love. They only did it for the right price.
He bumped the latch down with his elbow, a practiced move that he’d used since his first day working at the bathhouse. Trembling, he crept inside, his eyes cast down. His cheeks flushed from within and not from the high temperature. The heat was oppressive. He was certain it was no different than usual, but Sam couldn’t seem to catch his breath.
“Ah, splendid. Our favorite towel boy is here.”
Without looking, Sam recognized the voice of the older man. Saul? That’s what Mr Larsen had said.
“That he is. Young man, would you bring us some fresh towels please?”
“S-sure.”
He didn’t feel right. He wasn’t sure if it was the steam, the heat, his nerves or everything all mixed up together. Even though his feet seemed as if they were made of giant rocks, Sam forced himself to go in the direction of the two men, go toward the strong gentle voice of the man he was supposed to give himself to.
With his gaze still cast down, the first thing he saw was the feet of the beautiful man. There was a fine layer of hair covering the top of them, dark and alluring against the man’s ivory skin. He tracked the path of the hair up the long legs that were lean, yet sculpted. Sam inhaled sharply at the sight of his full sac, the magnificent view of his manhood.
It was then that he raised his eyes and locked them for the first time with the man of his fantasies. There was a kindness in his expression, the barest hint of a smile. Sam swayed. Right as the room fell away, he saw the look on the man’s face change to one of fear.

Welcome Morticia Knight

Thank you for having me here today Ella!

Tarnished Glitter (Gin & Jazz 3) was just released a few days ago. Since Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching, I thought I would share a heated moment between Roman and Jack on their first Valentine’s together. In 1925, the holiday fell on a Saturday, so silent film star and screen idol, Roman Pasquale, is taking his young lover, new film star Jack Stone, on a romantic excursion. There’s been some tension in their seemingly perfect union lately – most of it centered around Jack’s discomfort with the constant luxury, glamorous outings and preening that goes along with celebrity. Roman demands that everything be ‘just so’, whereas Jack comes from a humble background and is more of a regular guy. He loves parks, picnics and beaches – the very things that Roman goes out of his way to avoid. To show Jack how much he means to him, Roman sacrifices his desires to keep Jack happy.  Roman comes up with the idea of taking Jack to the Sequoia National Park. To see how amazing this mountain forest is, check out the park link here:
To further add to Roman’s distaste for the outdoors, Jack warns him that bears can get into the cabin if they smell food. Despite that, Roman is determined to enjoy his beautifully sweet lover. Do you have special plans for this Valentine’s Day?

Excerpt from Tarnished Glitter (Gin & Jazz 3) copyright 2013 Morticia Knight

Jack sat on the rug close to the fire. He held his hands out in front of them to warm them. He doubted Roman wanted icy caresses for their Valentine’s lovemaking. He giggled at the thought of Roman’s reaction to frozen hands on his skin. The door opened, and Roman rushed through it, a concerned expression on his face.
“Are you all right?”
“Yes, my dear Jack, but I am freezing my ass off. That would greatly disrupt our evening’s activities, so I suggest you scoot over and let me warm myself.”
Roman bent to sit next to Jack, then straightened up again.
“What?” Roman sure was acting funny.
Roman turned and went to where the bed was in the corner of the one room cabin. He grabbed the pillows, the bedspread and blankets, and dragged the whole mess over to them.
“Up, Jack.”
Jack did as he was told, and watched as Roman laid one blanket over the rug to completely cover it. He dropped the pillows down, and left everything else piled between them and the sofa.
“Aw. I thought the rug felt nice.”
“Jack. I don’t think I shall be able to properly service you rolling around on that dead animal. I’d rather not be reminded of the existence of bears.”
“Oh.”
Jack plopped back down and watched as Roman took a deep breath, and went to pour them some champagne. He sat down gracefully next to Jack, effortlessly balancing both glasses in his hands. Jack was reminded of just how stunning a man Roman really was. He was really very lucky to have his love.
After handing one drink to Jack, he raised his in a toast. “To our first Valentine’s, one of many.”
Jack clinked his glass with Roman’s and took a long sip. His stomach was so much better now that he wouldn’t have minded a gin, but Roman had kept it away from him ever since that night.
“Since you wouldn’t allow me to give you a present, I shall give myself to you instead. Would you like to unwrap me?”
Roman had the gleam in his eye that would always immediately harden Jack. He longed to have Roman driving into his ass—it had been days. There had been plenty of other intimacies, but they had been saving themselves for a good fuck on their holiday trip.
Jack sat up on his knees and reached for the front of Roman’s pyjama top. As he undid each knotted button, the light brush of his knuckles against Roman’s skin made the hairs on his arm stand up. Even after hours upon hours of sharing their bodies, just barely touching Roman still gave him a thrill.
Once Roman’s top was removed, Jack couldn’t resist latching on to one of Roman’s dark nipples. Roman hissed in through his teeth, and arched his back. Jack straddled him, and grasped Roman’s back by reaching underneath his arms. Roman grabbed Jack’s waist. Jack licked and nibbled until the brown disc peaked to a hard nub. Then he switched his attention to the other one, teasing it mercilessly. Jack was rewarded with the sliding thrust of Roman’s hardness against his own shaft still shielded by the satin of their pyjama bottoms. Jack ground into Roman, and they rubbed their erections together in a frenzy of desire.
Roman flipped Jack onto the ground so that he faced him, and ripped his shirt open, shoving the fabric aside. He bit into the crook of Jack’s neck. Jack first yelped, then moaned. He pumped his hip into Roman’s thigh. He needed to come, even though they had barely begun. Roman reached under Jack’s head with one hand to cradle him there and used the other to grasp and squeeze his backside, pressing them even closer. Jack responded by wrapping his legs around Roman’s waist.
Roman continued to bite and lap all around Jack’s neck and throat. He nipped at an earlobe, and licked his way to Jack’s chin, giving him a quick nibble there. Still they ground and pushed against one another, Roman’s hands gripping his ass with more force. They wouldn’t be able to last. He wouldn’t be able to last.
“Oh, God, Roman, I…”
“Yes.” Roman’s whisper was feral against his ear, his hot breath sending an electrical charge from Jack’s spine to down very low in his abdomen. “Come.”
Jack clutched Roman’s shoulders, and they both let go at once. Jack’s cry was so loud that he shocked himself. Roman’s answering cry was guttural, like an animal. Their coupling had been quick and frantic. Despite the deeply satisfying orgasm, he had looked forward to a long slow night with Roman, as well as the feel of his lover inside of him.
At last, Roman’s breathing slowed somewhat, and he propped himself up on his elbows to look down at Jack. Roman smiled in a contented way and brushed Jack’s soft waves of hair off his forehead.
“Don’t look so disappointed, my sweet Jack.”
“I’m not disappointed. That was wonderful.”
“As wonderful as my cock filling you? Thrusting inside of you so hard that you can’t even move?”
Now he understood Roman’s game. Already it worked. Roman’s words combined with his smouldering stare was bringing Jack’s dick back to life.
“Roman, please. I want you.”
“And don’t I always give you what you want?”
“Yes, Roman.” Jack spoke softly, unable to mask the need in his voice.

Guest Blogger... Morticia Knight

What is a Clandestine Classic Anyway?

I’m here at the lovely Ella Jade’s Blog today to discuss my latest release, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. Now obviously, I didn’t write the original, it was the highly entertaining and somewhat flippant Washington Irving who created the tale of the Headless Horseman. When Total E-Bound Publishing first announced last year that they were starting a line called Clandestine Classics, I was intrigued. I’d heard of the horror reboots of classics, such as Pride & Prejudice and Zombies, but classics with sex in them? Sign me up!
I wasn’t sure how we were supposed to present our classic, and I was further interested once I discovered that the intent was to stay completely true to the original words that the author wrote. While we are certainly adding to the story by giving it an erotic retelling, we had to work within the parameters of what the author wrote – no words could be changed. So in my imagining of Sleepy Hollow, there are two lovers, a bit of BDSM, and Ichabod is quite endowed. Plus the horseman makes more than one visit to Sleepy Hollow. I hope you enjoy this MMF romp, and I’ve included an excerpt to give you a taste that includes both Irving’s and my prose:

Excerpt from The Legend of Sleepy Hollow
By Washington Irving & Morticia Knight

True to his word, Ichabod swived the lass until just before the telling of the dawn, leaving her sore and well-used, and with the knowledge in one night of all of the skills of Aphrodite. He escorted her safely back to her parents’ home, and bade her a brief farewell, planning to state his suit to her father very soon. But first he must send word to Jonathan, for he knew his lover was nearing the end of his studies, and surely the joyful news of his female find would entice Jonathan to their side forthwith.
Wending his way down the path to the most recent dwelling where he was making his home, he pondered all they had discussed throughout the previous eve. Although still confident in his success against his rival, he was a prudent man, and shied from declaring definitive conclusions when there were still matters to be finalised. For whilst some may profess to know the perfect way that a woman’s heart is secured, I profess not to know how women’s hearts are wooed and won.
To me they have always been matters of riddle and admiration. Some seem to have but one vulnerable point, or door of access, while others have a thousand avenues, and may be captured in a thousand different ways. It is a great triumph of skill to gain the former, but a still greater proof of generalship to maintain possession of the latter, for man must battle for his fortress at every door and window. He who wins a thousand common hearts is therefore entitled to some renown, but he who keeps undisputed sway over the heart of a coquette is indeed a hero. Certain it is, this was not the case with the redoubtable Brom Bones, and from the moment Ichabod Crane made his advances, the interests of the former evidently declined, his horse was no longer seen tied to the palings on Sunday nights, and a deadly feud gradually arose between him and the preceptor of Sleepy Hollow.

Tease Us Thursday...

Welcome Back! If you're in need of a weekend read, I may have one or two for you...

**Some Excerpts contain adult content**

"You look beautiful."

She looked down at her feet, but he could see the blush in her cheeks. "It was warm today, so I put this dress on."

"It’s lovely."

"Thanks."

"Do you want to put these away?" He pointed to the bags.

"Sure," she said. "You didn’t tell me why you’re here."

"Oh, right."

Why am I here?

"Not that I mind, but I’m wondering how I scored a visit from Brody Callahan two days in a row." She laughed as she emptied the bags and quickly put the items away.

Now he was embarrassed. That didn’t happen often. "I have to go to Boston for a few days."

"With Gavin?" She had an unpleasant look on her face when she mentioned his brother. He got the feeling she wasn’t a fan of Gavin. She was probably the only young woman he knew who didn’t fall prey to the charmer’s tricks. He wondered if he’d made some inappropriate move on her. It wouldn’t surprise him.

"Yes, I want to help him get settled."

She nodded as she put a cereal box in the cabinet.

"Anyway," he said. "I finished up some odds and ends and I was on my way for an early dinner. I thought maybe you could join me."

"You want me to have dinner with you?" The skin between her brows crinkled. She looked confused.

"I’d like to have dinner with you. That’s why I asked."

"How come?"

"I like your company."

"Oh." Maybe she wasn’t interested.

"Am I doing something wrong?" It had been a while since he’d pursued a woman, but he doubted the basics had changed.

"What do you mean?"

"You seem surprised I’m showing interest in you. I’m not sure why."

"I’m the housekeeper." She shrugged.

"You’re much more than that." He walked over to where she stood and took her hand. "Maybe you’ll let me show you." He pressed her knuckles to his lips. "Will you have dinner with me?"

"Um…"

"Um’s not an answer." He kissed her hand again. "I have a stressful few days ahead of me and you calm me, so I’d like to spend the next couple of hours getting to know you."

She opened the door into complete darkness. All of the shades were tightly drawn. It seemed as though the new owners hadn’t got to this room yet. It had a dank musty smell as if it had been shut away for years. With just a little of the natural daylight from the hallway seeping into the room, Sophie slipped inside and stood still. She listened to the thrum of her heart thumping in her ears and waited to see if the spirit would try to come through her.
“Oh,” she gasped. The entity had completely caught her off guard—absolutely nothing like this had ever happened to her before.
She was getting turned on. The energy coming through her was warm and sexual. Her nipples hardened immediately, and she was mortified to realise that her panties were getting moist from her desire. Her first instinct was to shut herself off and run. But she let it go since there didn’t seem to be any sense of threat or danger.
She allowed the spirit to continue to connect with her. There was a name, but she couldn’t get it. The entity seemed to have one and one thing only on its mind. It had obviously been a long time since whoever this was had got laid. She was able to discern that it was male, and very…kinky. She could feel rough natural ropes around her wrists and ankles, and the sensation that she was splayed wide open and naked.
