Chapter One
Gabby gave him a small smile as she sat mesmerized by his face.
That morning in the kitchen she experienced her first crush. Lorenzo Martinez was the cutest boy she’d ever laid eyes on. She’d spend many years scribbling his name in her notebook after that day. Her favorite thing to write was Mrs. Lorenzo Martinez.
Sometimes a girl should be careful what she wished for.
