Happy Anniversary Beachwalk Press! I'm thrilled to have been with this amazing publisher from the beginning!

I'm supposed to tell you my three favorite things I love about being an author. Here goes...

1- I have a platform to get all of those stories, voices, characters and plots out of my head. It can get pretty noisy inside my mind especially when I have multiple plots clawing to get out. Being an author not only helps me channel that energy, but I have the privilege of sharing my worlds with all of you.

2 - During the course of my four year journey I've met some amazingly creative and supportive authors. Writing is a lonely business most of the time. I'm chained to my desk and forced to stare at my laptop for many hours trying to get the words to flow just right. I LOVE my job, but it helps knowing another author is just an instant message or a text a way when you need them. I'm also extremely blessed to have Beachwalk Press in my corner. Through my publishing journey I've hit a few clunkers when it came to publishers. I haven't found one that treats me with the respect, courtesy and professionalism that BWP does. Have I mentioned I LOVE my job ;)

3- The romance community is extremely loyal. When a reader finds you and enjoys your book, I find they will pretty much stick with you. I've been fortunate enough to pick up a fantastic group of readers who check in on me, message me and let me know how my words have brightened their day. If that's not my favorite part than I don't know what is.
