I’m thrilled to share my romance story in such an awesome anthology. My book, Properties of Love, is a full-length sweet, fake marriage, billionaire contemporary romance. Each book in my Billionaire’s Venture Romance series is a standalone story, but they are connected by a crazy college pact where the boys agreed never to marry…or else. Money may be able to open doors, but it can’t guarantee love. Quite the opposite for Michael. He’s had his share of gold-diggers in his past…enough to swear him off women forever. But his crafty grandma has other ideas. She’s loved her grandson as if he were her own, and she’s dying. How can she make sure he’s taken care of, but to threaten the one thing he holds dear? Michael may think he knows what’s coming, but his heart may have other plans. Especially where Jocelyn is concerned. She’s different than any woman he’s ever met. I love writing this type of book because it brings home the challenges of family dynamics which aren’t always great. But I’m a hopeless romantic and I believe everyone can have their romantically ever after even through hard times. The grandma in this story is based off of my own grandma who is one of the wisest and funniest ladies I’ve had the honor of knowing. The sage wisdom of Michael’s elder could ultimately lead him to his best life ever, but only if he can believe in what she sees in him. Hopefully he’ll learn, but only time will tell.

Amy Proebstel is a native Oregonian and she enjoys the quiet of living in the countryside with her husband, Richard, and their daughter, Kailey. She shares her life and house with four Pomeranians and a special cat who thinks she’s a dog. Reading and writing books has always been a passion in her life. She thinks there’s nothing better than getting pulled into other people’s journeys, feeling their emotions, and enjoying their successes. She writes when she’s inspired, usually after midnight, and the results have been fun to watch unfold as she immerses herself in the world of her characters.
